Each band moves at the same speed but holds its position between updates. The defaults sample every 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 display frames. Choose a straight path or Rings / grid. Rings gives each refresh rate its own grid cell and circular path. Objects / path adds evenly spaced shapes around that ring; lines stack through the centre as rotating spokes. Vertical/horizontal changes the order of rates in the grid. For spinning lines, click the px/s / RPM toggle to control revolutions per minute. RPM keeps the rotation rate constant when the grid or window size changes. Each unit accepts speeds up to 1,000,000; converted values above that limit are clamped. Choose lines, circles, squares or diamonds, set 1–24 objects per band and adjust the speed slider. The slider chooses a gentler automatic maximum from the highest browser refresh estimate observed and the window size. On phones, the slider spans the control panel for finer adjustments. RPM uses a refresh-based maximum. Resizing or remeasuring starts a fresh estimate; the browser cannot read the screen's highest supported hardware mode. Type a higher speed to expand the range; a lower value restores the automatic range. Use ↺ to restore the automatic range (clamping higher speeds). Add any target rate beside the layout controls; remove a band with ×.
Refresh rate is estimated from browser animation timing. It can differ from the monitor's configured rate because of browser limits, load or variable refresh. Default bands follow the estimate; custom rates stay fixed. Non-divisible rates have uneven frame pacing. Targets above the detected rate are allowed and marked capped; visible updates are limited by the browser and screen. The screen still refreshes as a whole.
HDR uses a floating-point WebGPU canvas with extended tone mapping when available. HDR capability detection does not prove HDR is enabled in your OS. Enable HDR in your display settings and use a compatible browser; otherwise the page uses SDR. Peak values are signal multipliers, not measured nits.
